P90X Round 3 - Day 21 - Day 23 Xstretch / YogaX / Core Synergistics
Day 21 - Rest
Day 22 - YogaX - another good round of YogaX, trying to focus more on my form, straight legs, torso facing forward…holding poses etc. My only complaint is this program is too long. I do like it though and I do think its beneficial for flexibility and stretching aspects.
Day 23 - Core Synergistics - been a long time, this time around I felt my core a lot more than in the past (at least more than I can remember). Hopefully this means my core is stronger..? I did feel a little out of it during the plank to chatarunga run (took a break). Looking forward to doing this again in a couple of days.
Today was the first time I tried the P90X recovery drink. I mixed 2 scoops in 12 ounces of cold water and mixed in my magic bullet. It was refreshing - not thick like my protein shakes or shakeology - more like a drink. It tastes sort of like orange sherbet (in liquid form). I already feel like I have more energy..could this be the fructose? I don’t know either way I do feel good. Let’s see how this works going forward.
